Privacy Policy

Learn how Find Business collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your personal information, and the privacy rights available to United States residents — including California residents under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA.

1. Introduction and Scope

Find Business ("Find Business", "we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you provide. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect personal information when you visit our website or use our SaaS platform.

This policy applies to residents of the United States. It includes disclosures required by the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (together, the "CCPA"), for California residents. Where we refer to "personal information", we use that term as defined by the CCPA.

By accessing or using Find Business, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

2. Categories of Personal Information We Collect

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have collected the following categories of personal information (as those categories are defined by the CCPA). Not every category is collected about every individual.

  • Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, company name, account username, IP address, and similar identifiers.
  • Customer records (Cal. Civ. Code § 1798.80(e)): billing contact details and information you provide when creating an account or contacting us.
  • Commercial information: subscription plan, transaction and billing history, and records of services purchased or considered.
  • Internet or other electronic network activity: browsing and usage activity on our site and platform, interactions with features, referring URLs, and cookie/device identifiers.
  • Geolocation data: approximate, non-precise location inferred from your IP address.
  • Professional or employment-related information: your role, company, and business context.
  • Audio and electronic information: messages and communications you send to our support or sales teams.
  • Sensitive personal information: account log-in credentials (username in combination with password) used to access your account.
  • Inferences: preferences and characteristics we derive from the above to personalize and improve the service.

We collect this information to provide our services and for the business and commercial purposes described in Section 5. We do not knowingly collect the personal information of children under 16.

3. Sensitive Personal Information

The only category of sensitive personal information we collect is your account log-in credentials. We use this information solely to authenticate you and secure your account, and not for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you. Because we do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes beyond those permitted by the CCPA, the Right to Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information (Section 8) does not restrict our current practices; we honor requests to limit as described below regardless.

4. Sources of Personal Information

We obtain personal information from the following sources:

  • Directly from you: when you create an account, subscribe to a plan, fill out forms, or contact us.
  • Automatically: through cookies and similar technologies as you interact with our site and platform.
  • From third-party integrations you connect: such as WhatsApp, Twilio, OpenAI, or social networks that you authorize.
  • From service providers: such as payment processors and analytics or hosting providers acting on our behalf.

5. How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information for the following business and commercial purposes:

  • Creating, managing, and securing your account.
  • Providing, maintaining, and improving our marketing, CRM, and customer-service features.
  • Processing payments and managing subscriptions.
  • Communicating with you about your account, service updates, and — where you have opted in — marketing offers by email or SMS.
  • Personalizing your experience and recommending relevant features.
  • Detecting, preventing, and responding to security incidents and fraud.
  • Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our terms.

We do not use or disclose personal information for purposes materially different from those disclosed here without providing notice.

6. How We Disclose Personal Information

In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have disclosed the categories of personal information described in Section 2 for business purposes to the following categories of recipients:

  • Service providers and contractors: companies that operate the platform on our behalf (hosting, payment processing, email/SMS delivery, and analytics), bound by contract to use the information only for our specified purposes.
  • Integrations you enable: third-party services you connect to your account.
  • Legal and safety disclosures: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or a governmental request, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
  • Corporate transactions: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, with notice as required by law.

7. "Sale" and "Sharing" of Personal Information

We do not "sell" your personal information for monetary consideration, and we do not "share" your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We have not sold or shared personal information in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Even though we do not sell or share personal information, we provide the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" mechanism described below so you can exercise this right at any time, and we honor opt-out preference signals.

  • You can submit an opt-out request at any time through the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link available in the website footer, or by contacting us at privacidade@findbusiness.com.br.
  • You do not need to create an account or verify your identity to exercise this right.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)

  • We recognize and honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. When your browser or device transmits a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid request to opt out of the sale and sharing of personal information for that browser or device.
  • Because opt-out preference signals are tied to a specific browser or device, you may need to enable GPC on each browser and device you use.

8. Your Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the following rights, subject to certain exceptions:

  • Right to Know / Access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes, and the categories of recipients.
  • Right to Delete: request that we delete personal information we collected from you.
  • Right to Correct: request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: direct us not to sell or share your personal information (see Section 7).
  • Right to Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information: direct us to limit the use of your sensitive personal information to permitted purposes (see Section 3).
  • Right to Data Portability: receive a copy of your personal information in a portable, readily usable format.
  • Right to Non-Discrimination: not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights (see Section 10).

9. How to Exercise Your Rights

To submit a Right to Know, Delete, Correct, or Limit request, email us at privacidade@findbusiness.com.br with the subject "Privacy Rights Request", or contact us using the details in Section 14. For opt-out of sale/sharing, use the footer link or a GPC signal as described in Section 7.

To protect your information, we will verify your identity before fulfilling a request to know, delete, or correct — generally by matching the information in your request against the information we hold. We will confirm receipt of a verifiable request within ten (10) business days and respond within forty-five (45) calendar days; if we need more time, we will inform you and may take up to an additional forty-five (45) days. We do not charge a fee to process or respond to a verifiable request unless it is excessive, repetitive, or manifestly unfounded.

10. Authorized Agents

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request to know, delete, correct, or opt out on your behalf. If you use an authorized agent, we may require the agent to provide written permission signed by you and may require you to verify your own identity directly with us. An authorized agent submitting an opt-out request may be asked to demonstrate that you gave them signed permission.

11. Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price or rate, or provide you a different level or quality of goods or services because you exercised your rights, except where permitted by law.

12. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. After your account is closed, we retain personal information for up to 90 days for backup and recovery, after which it is deleted, unless a longer retention period is required to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. We determine retention periods based on the purpose for which the information was collected and applicable legal requirements.

13. Data Security, Cookies, and Children's Privacy

We store personal information on secure servers with encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest, and apply access controls, continuous monitoring, and industry-standard safeguards. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We use essential cookies to operate the site and analytics cookies to understand how you interact with the platform. You can manage your preferences through the cookie banner or your browser settings; a GPC signal is honored as described in Section 7.

Our services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.

14. Changes and Contact
